We see many different types of skis, x-country; backcountry, telemark, even alpine!!
I get pulled behind two dogs in my first lesson in Skijourning.
I get pulled around the Village by two expert skijourning dogs, Kassie & Komet..
Kassie & Komet pull me past the "8 tree" cabin.
Tessie is trained to ski at 'heel', so skijourning was not her cup of tea!

What we like is lotsa snow!!
Snoshoeing is beoming more popular...just stay to the side of the trail to avoid fast skiers which you may not hear approaching.
Long haired dogs have problems in certain conditions with "snowballs"

2011 was a big snow winter and we had t dig our way into the "Chalet"
As the now melts on the bridges it leaves 'tunnels' as the air gets up the spaces between the boards.
