Cameron family
The Cameron family have been regulars. Originally they came in by "Polk" and now they ski by their own power!
Chalet interior 1
The "CHALET" is our biggest guest cabin and can sleep 8 people. It started out a "warmup shack in the woods" for Anni & I and was 'rebuilt' in 2008 to accommodate our growing clientele.
Chalet interior 2
All our cabin/chalet's are lined with either pine or hemlock T&G, except the Lodge which is made of Logs. Lighting is by Oil Lamps or 12v light bulbs.
Angelo shovels off the Chalet Roof
Huge snow build-ups have to be shovelled to keep the chimney's from falling.
Creek Crossing by Chris C
Backcountry trips are arranged in the Spring. Creek crossing is a necessity to access Bald Mtn.
New Years desert
Every New Years Eve we put on a four course Banquet, and of course we always 'flambee' the desert!!
Doggie Telly Lesson
Our two Black Labs listen attently to Tim as he outlines the basics of Telemark Skiing.
Duct Tape Gloves
Tim shows off his duct tap gloves (frugal or cheapskate?) whilst John awaits a tow up the glades.
Horn & Fiddle duet in LSH
Brian and Michelle give an Oboe and Violin duet in the "musik room" in the Langspeilhaus, with my home built Flemish Harsichord in the background..
Eli backpacks up the towline
Eli is the youngest kid to have ever "skied" the Telly Hill, his father being an excellent Telemark skier.
Erica & Kootenay
"Kootenay" is a beautiful Malamute and makes skiing really easy.......especially on the uphills!!
Etienne Mile & Inauk
We are not JUST about skiing. Winter recreational activties are limited only by your imagination.
The Doyle Family March 18 2012
Families return year after year for that essential outdoor experience.
First Ski Dec 17 2007
In 2007 we were able to open in mid December. Aaron Tim and I are at Trail Head by the "Post Office".
Fully loaded Skandics packing out
All gear is ferried to and from the parking lot by snowmobile. The 35th Field Ambulance from Sydney have been regulars and need two machines to ferry all the gear!
The galley in the Chalet
The "CHALET" is our largest cabin. It can accommodate 8 adults in full size bunks.
Glacier roof
We have several mini "glaciers" in the Village. Don't stand under a roof when avalance conditions are high!!
History of winter
As the snow melts in the spring, the 'history' of the layers of snow becomes apparent.
